FAQ

Why a Stewardship Campaign?
Erie Christian Fellowship Church exists because God passionately loves our world.  His amazing love is manifested far beyond mere words.  Romans 5:8 says, “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”

God continues to show His great love by calling forth ministry to represent His heart to every generation.  That’s why Erie Christian Fellowship Church exists today.

Throughout the history of our church, great generosity has continually been shown as people have willingly given to purchase properties and complete building projects.  Each of us is a recipient of another’s generosity.  Now, our facilities make it possible for ministry to produce changed lives.

By giving toward our 2014-2015 Stewardship Campaign, we are simply following in the footsteps of faithfulness.  It is our turn to pass along the blessing to future generations by retiring the mortgage on this property.

Does This Replace My Tithe?
Tithing is the principle of honoring God with what is rightfully His; the first 10% of our income. The Stewardship commitment is a love offering beyond our tithe. It focuses specifically on mortgage reduction on our property in order to minister to current and future generations.

When is the Commitment Due and What is the Length of the Commitment?
The 2014-2015 Stewardship Campaign begins November 1, 2014 and extends for 12 months.
