During October, we looked ahead to the opportunities before us in 2011. We looked upon God’s “exceeding great and precious promises.” We looked around and heard many testimonies of God’s faithfulness. And, we looked within and listened to the Lord’s gentle instructions spoken to our hearts.
What pleases me most is that our congregation is now aligned with our goals for the next twelve months. I am satisfied that everyone is better equipped to evaluate their financial priorities in light of Kingdom priorities and promises. To me, that is a win!
On Sunday, November 14th, I joyfully announced that Jason Ackerman is joining our staff in the position of Connections Ministry Director. Our ability to respond to this “God opportunity” is a direct result of the goals we set through our Capital Campaign. Our next step is to fill the position for Student Ministries Pastor having oversight of both Youth (Junior and Senior Highs) and Young Adults (19 through 29 years old) Ministries.
As we continue to develop momentum within our church, we will grow numerically and financially. With the Lord’s favor, I am certain we may even complete our sanctuary project during the coming year! The scripture reminds us, “His power at work in us can do far more than we dare ask or imagine” Ephesians 3:20b.
We are excited to announce that this webpage will be updated weekly with testimonies, devotionals and updates. Throughout the year we will send periodic letters to thank you for your stewardship and to keep you updated. Also, I will share from the pulpit monthly to communicate with our entire congregation.
I now set myself in agreement with you for increase, favor and supernatural abundance!
